Terms and conditions of
B&B Het Notarishuis

• Confirmation
  A reservation is only final after you have received written confirmation from us and paid a deposit of 50% of the total amount.

• Deposit
  The deposit must be paid into our account within 7 days of receiving the booking confirmation. If not, the booking will automatically be cancelled.

• Remaining payment
  The remaining amount must be paid upon arrival at the latest.

• Payment methods
  We accept payments by bank transfer, credit card, debit card, Vlaanderen Vakantiecheque, Visit Limburgcheque and cash. An invoice is available upon request.

When booking 1–2 rooms:

• Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival (3:00 PM) – the deposit will be fully refunded.

• If you cancel within 10 days of arrival, or if you're a no-show, we'll charge 100% of the total amount.

When booking 3–5 rooms:

• Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival – the deposit will be fully refunded.

• In case of cancellation within 60 days: 50% costs.

• In case of cancellation within 30 days or no-show: 100% costs.

Cancellation by us:
If we have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. We will inform you as soon as possible.

• Changes in dates or number of persons are possible, depending on availability.

• Price differences will be adjusted and confirmed by email.

• Changes are only valid after our written confirmation.

• Check-in: from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Arriving later? Please let us know in advance, and you'll receive instructions for our key safe.

• Check-out: no later than 10:30 am.

• Late check-out: until 1:00 PM possible on request and for a surcharge of €25 (subject to availability).

• Number of guests: Maximum 2 people per room. Additional guests are permitted only upon request and may incur a surcharge.

• Smoking: No smoking inside. Smoking is only permitted on the patio, without causing a nuisance or leaving cigarette butts behind.

• Pets: In consultation, 10€ per night allowance

• Visitors: Please notify in advance. Only permitted after consultation.

• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No music or noise that disturbs other guests or residents.

• Parking: Free parking in our private parking lots during your stay. Parking is at your own risk.

• Liability: The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents during their stay. Any damage must be reported immediately and may be billed for later.

• Personal belongings: B&B Het Notarishuis is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to the guest's personal belongings.

In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or power outages), we reserve the right to cancel or rebook. We will always contact you to offer a suitable solution.

We handle your data with care and in accordance with the GDPR. Your data will only be used for your reservation and stay and will never be shared with third parties without your consent.

• Complaints can be submitted in writing via info@hetnotarishuis.com, within 7 days of departure.

• We aim to process these within 14 days.

• Belgian law applies to all our terms and conditions. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where B&B Het Notarishuis is located.

• B&B Het Notarishuis is officially licensed under the supervision of the Flanders Department of International Affairs. You can contact them for information about regulations or to file a complaint.
