Welcome to Het Notarishuis – your stylish retreat in the Voer region, near Maastricht. Come home to a B&B with character, calmness and genuine hospitality.
We are Bart and Christianne, partners in life and in B&B Het Notarishuis. What began as a dream for Christianne—with years of experience in the hotel industry—grew into a shared passion: creating a warm, stylish place where guests instantly feel at home.
After years in the fashion industry (Bart) and the hotel industry (Christianne), we found our dream home in 2020: a charming former notary's house in the tranquil village of Moelingen, in the heart of the Voer region and just minutes from Eijsden and Maastricht. What began as a practical search for a nice place for our (bonus)daughters, Mina (10) and Rosie (8), became love at first sight with this property. In 2024, our son Jonah was born – the newest and youngest member of the team, and already a big smiler!
We decided to restore the house ourselves and in the summer of 2022 we opened the first guest rooms.
In the spring of 2023, our two spacious loft rooms followed – each unique, with charm, light, and views of the rolling landscape of the Voer region. Since then, we've been happily welcoming guests from the Netherlands and abroad.
​What we love most about running a B&B? Mornings at the breakfast table, where people with diverse stories come together and spontaneous conversations arise. Every day feels like a vacation at home – thanks in part to the tranquility of the village, the surrounding hills, and the proximity to Maastricht, the heart of Dutch Limburg.
